Speaker: Lindsay A. Frederick
Lindsay A. Frederick is the managing member of The Frederick Law Group, PLLC in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The firms practice areas vary, but Lindsay’s passion is Assisted Reproductive Technology law. She has worked with and represented both Intended Parents and Gestational Carriers in drafting Gestational Carrier Agreements as well as same sex couples in drafting Parentage Agreements.
Prior to attending Law School, Lindsay worked on and off for over 15 years at The New Hope Center for Reproductive Medicine in Virginia Beach. While there she gained a vast knowledge of the testing, procedures, and financial aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) as well as a basic knowledge of the legal requirements involved with these procedures.
During Law School Lindsay expanded her knowledge of Assisted Reproductive Technology law through her studies as well as through an internship with Colleen Quinn, Esq., prominent ART attorney in Richmond, Virginia.
Lindsay is a longtime resident of Hampton Roads, having moved to Virginia Beach nearly 25 years ago. She received her bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University and her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law. Lindsay is an active member of both the Virginia State Bar and the Florida State Bar. She is also an active member of the Legal Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
