
Rosalind “Roz” Jones (she/her) joins LGBT Life Center as Senior Housing Case Manager with extensive experience across the human services field. From supporting HIV/AIDS patients at Eastern Virginia Medical School to helping SNAP and TANF recipients access workforce training, Roz’s career has been centered on meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with dignity.

Where’d you come from and what’d you do there? I Have a M.A. in Gerontology and a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice. My last job was a Case Manager at Tidewater Community College, assisting SNAP/TANF recipients with a trade in C N A, Culinary Arts, Welding, and CDL. I have a wide rang of experience working in the human service field.
I’m here to help you with…I am here to assist clients in finding suitable housing, provide a safe and healthy environment, and ensure my clients are taking care of their needs and themselves medically, emotionally, and mentally.
How did you become interested in working at LGBT Life Center? Years ago, I was a case manager at Eastern Virginia Medical School in the C3ID unit, working with HIV/AIDS patients.
What’s an interesting thing about you that most people don’t know? I like to crochet, plant veggies, and travel.
What excites you most about being at LGBT Life Center? Helping people.
