With 25 years of healthcare experience—from billing and contracting to pharmacy program leadership—Julia is passionate about breaking down barriers to care. She’s here to help our patients access medications at little to no cost and to support staff in understanding how the 340B Program (LGBT Life Center’s pharmacy program) benefits our community. When she’s not ensuring access to life-saving meds, you can find her on the road living the RV life—wintering in sunny Florida and chasing mountain views the rest of the year.

Where’d you come from and what’d you do there? 25 years of healthcare experience in various capacities (billing/coding, credentialing/contracting, leadership roles & now in the 340B space for the past 7 years). I’ve worked for a national non-profit organization focused on HIV/STIs and another entity in the Orlando area. My passion has always been to help those who didn’t have access to care/medications.
I’m here to help you with…gaining a better understanding of the 340B Program (LGBT Life Center’s pharmacy program) and how the program can benefit our patients/clients and communities. My objective is to ensure our patients receive medications without experiencing any barriers. There are ways our patients could receive their medications at little to no cost, you can help by promoting the pharmacy as a “preferred partner” of LGBT Life Center. If there are any pharmacy or patient eligibility questions, I’m your go-to girl!
How did you become interested in working at LGBT Life Center? It’s my passion to help the community and advocate for the underserved populations.
What’s an interesting thing about you that most people don’t know? I’m currently a full-time RVer and get to travel without being tied down to one place. Love Florida in the winter, but for the rest of the year, you will find me in the mountains.
What excites you most about being at LGBT Life Center? The opportunity to contribute to the greater good of humanity.
