At LGBT Life Center, 2024 was a powerful reminder that even in the face of uncertainty, our community rises. Together—with your support—we’ve expanded, deepened, and strengthened our impact across Hampton Roads.
From the opening of our brand-new Hampton facility to launching on-site partner clinics and pharmacies in both Norfolk and Hampton, we reached more people than ever with affirming care, HIV prevention, and wraparound support services.
Our work this year was about connection
We housed individuals and families, filled pantries and prescriptions, showed up at Pride events across the region, and supported people navigating mental health, stigma, trauma, and identity with compassion and care. We celebrated our 35th anniversary with our most successful gala ever, and introduced the first-ever State of the Center—because we believe transparency builds trust.
And we’re just getting started
As we move into 2025, we remain committed to growing our impact—expanding access to healthcare, protecting LGBTQ+ rights, advocating for HIV funding, and building a world where every person feels seen, safe, and supported.
