With a background in case management at Catholic Charities, where she supported low-income single mothers in Hampton Roads, Aasha brings a wealth of experience in helping individuals secure stable housing.

Name/Nickname: Aasha
Pronouns:
She/Her
Job title:
Housing Stabilization Specialist

Where’d you come from and what’d you do there? I came from Catholic Charities where I worked as a case manager for low-income single mothers in Hampton Roads.

I’m here to help you with…stable housing and housing-related needs.

How did you become interested in working at the LGBT Life Center? I became interested in the LGBT Life Center because of the “judgment free zone” that has been created, and the fact that it is a safe space for everyone that walks through our lobby doors.

What’s an interesting thing about you that most people don’t know? I took 12 years of German throughout middle, high school, and college.

What excites you most about being at the LGBT Life Center? The positive impact and support that I can provide to my clients.

Rapid Fire…what is your favorite…

Animal: Sloth
