Where’d you come from and what’d you do there? In my previous life, I worked as an Adult Probation Officer through the VA Dept. of Corrections before transitioning to working with children and families with Norfolk, VA CPS 🙂.
I’m here to help you with…pretty much anything that involves connecting our clients to resources that will assist in their stability and well-being (medical assistance, transportation, housing, mental health counseling, etc.).
How did you become interested in working at the LGBT Life Center? I was looking on Indeed for new social work opportunities, saw this position with LGBT Life Center, and thought “why not?” Now here I am 🙂!
What’s an interesting thing about you that most people don’t know? I’m a calculated risk taker/adrenaline junkie who wants to go skydiving at some point 🙂.
What excites you most about being at the LGBT Life Center? The overall positive energy of the staff and everyone’s heart to help not just the clients, but each other.
