Winter may feel quieter on the outside. At LGBT Life Center, it’s often when community shows up the strongest.
As days get shorter and temperatures drop, the need for care keeps moving. For many LGBTQ+ people and people living with or affected by HIV, winter can bring added barriers to stability and connection.
That often looks like:
• Housing that feels less secure
• Food access that becomes more urgent
• Healthcare that’s harder to reach
• Isolation that sets in faster
And it’s also when people step in to help.
