Max is returning to LGBT Life Center in a new role as a Medical Case Management intern. He previously spent two years with the Center working with NHBS and the Prevention team before stepping away to pursue his degree full-time at Old Dominion University. Now he’s back and eager to keep learning while helping connect clients to the care and support they need.
Max, you worked at LGBT Life Center for year – how many, why’d you leave, and what brought you back in this new capacity? I worked here previously for I believe 2 years. I started working with NHBS with Gregg and then transferred to the Prevention team. I left to pursue my college degree full-time at ODU. I am back for my internship in medical case management.
I’m here to help you with…Medical Case Management
What’s an interesting thing about you that most people don’t know? I know a lot about the substance use community, and I strive to help that population, and that’s why I wanted to go back to school.
What excites you most about being back at the LGBT Life Center in this new role? Learning, I just want to learn as much as possible and continue to help the community thrive!
