LGBT Life Center is proud of our “Fifty+ & Thriving” LGBTQIA+ Speaker & Workshop Series, a vibrant community event series aimed at supporting and connecting LGBTQ+ seniors. As members of the LGBTQ+ community age, they often face isolation and loneliness, making it crucial to provide spaces where they can feel welcomed, understood, and supported.
Combatting Isolation with Community Events
LGBTQ+ seniors frequently encounter unique challenges, including estrangement from family and limited access to senior-specific LGBTQ+ resources. The “Fifty+ & Thriving” series directly addresses these issues by offering a variety of engaging events designed to foster community and connection. These events are free and open to the public, ensuring accessibility for all.
