With a background in history and community storytelling—from interpreting at the Cape Henry Lighthouse to teaching at ODU—Logan brings both compassion and curiosity to their new role. As our Program Support Specialist, they’ll help keep key programs like the Pride Pantry and Housing running smoothly—connecting clients to food, housing, and vital resources. Passionate about local queer history and giving back, Logan is excited to serve and uplift the community they call home.

Where’d you come from and what’d you do there?: I was a historic interpreter at the Cape Henry Lighthouse in Virginia Beach and a grad teaching assistant in the ODU history department.
I’m here to help you with…: I’ll be helping keep key programs—like the Pride Pantry and Housing—running smoothly by assisting clients with food and housing needs, handling intake and paperwork, and connecting people to additional services.
How did you become interested in working at LGBT Life Center?: One of my areas of study is local Queer history, and this is a well-known local organization. I want to give back to this community in any way I can.
What’s an interesting thing about you that most people don’t know?: Oh, good question. I visited another country for the very first time last year. I studied abroad in Greece for two weeks.
What excites you most about being at LGBT Life Center?: The opportunity to serve my community!

Song/Music: Only the Good Die Young by Billy Joel is my favorite song, but my favorite genre is actually alt rock/emo.
TV Show/Movie: TV show would be Doctor Who, I don’t watch many movies.
