Adopt-A-Family

The LGBT Life Center is proud to be organizing our Annual Toy/Gift Drive to benefit families and households that may need a little extra support this holiday season. By supporting the Adopt-A-Family program, you will make sure that no one in our community is forgotten. 

Community members that sign up to “Adopt-A-Family” will receive a family’s “profile” indicating the gifts/items being requested. We ask that anyone “Adopting” a family try to get as close to the specific item as they are able, however we understand that sometimes the gifts being requested are not able to be purchased due to financial reasons. We do our best to match our families with donors able to provide the requested items/gifts, but there are times that we may not be able to do so.

For vendors/businesses specifically, you are also able to receive a donation box for smaller gifts/items to place in your place of business, in an effort to receive additional donations for these families in need. The front of our donation boxes will indicate that we are requesting new only, not used, items to be donated to families. If at any point your donation box fills before your scheduled pick up, please contact us so that we may come out to empty out the items so that it may accommodate more donated items.
