Current Profession: Project Manager
I am the lead for the asset management team of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet. We handle all of the IT assets for the Navy, except for satellites. I have been working since 1974 and have held many positions. I have concentrated my career in management and human resources.
From 2001 to 2009, I was the hiring manager for the largest call center in the United States. I conducted over 5,000 interviews and ran an organization of 1,200 tech support agents. I have my certifications in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL v3).
One of the best things that I bring to the table is the unique ability to align an individual’s skills with the job that needs to be done. I make the matches that work the best for the project, the team, and each person. If you allow an employee to have the freedom to be their true self, they will be a better part of the group.
